Dental Outreach
As often as possible, GMR tries to organize a dental team to be part of both the international and local medical outreach missions. Dr. Lloyd Stoll, Vice President of GMR, has led several dental clinics independently and during outreach missions. The local outreach missions have also been supported by teams from Davis Hospital Dental team and the Cheddi Jagan Dental School. GMR has purchased two mobile dental units and chairs to be used on outreach missions.
Dental services are always in great demand during any outreach mission. The care provided includes cleanings, fillings, tooth extractions, dentures, and other periodontal issues.
